Reflection of music video
Reflection on my music video
What have you learned?
- I have learnt how to successfully interpret a mood board into a music video.
- How to match up my lip syncing with my music video.
- How to shorten shot duration so that it fits into the video.
- How to employ a successful narrative arch throughout the video.
If you had problems, what were these and how could you avoid this next time?
- One of my shots were too long so I had to cut and re-film that section so the audience doesn't get bored of the same variety of shots. This happened on my first draft when I had a scene with my dad shoving me and it went on for about 10 seconds, which was too long, so I decided to re-film that section by putting two shots together.
-One which was a POV shot where I had my dad shouting at me and then followed by a extreme close up shot of my eye with a tear rolling down my cheek
- My lip syncing was out so I had to go back and re-edit so it matched up.

How could you improve?
- Some of the shots aren't big enough to fit the screen so it has random black bars on the side of the screen which disrupts the mise-en-scene.
- Remove the Christmas decorations from my door as it doesn't fit the mise-en-secene I am trying to convey.
