Treatment

Within my music video, my target audience will be firstly teenagers. This will be conveyed through the main character being played by a teenage boy. However, I will be targeting another demographic which will be families; this will be illustrated through the mise-en-scene. The mise-en-scene will include visual denotations such as the video will be set in a family environment which creates this bond between generations and presents the message of unity and also that the media impacts anybody no matter who you are or how old you are. For the website; however, I will be implementing pictures of fans, who have attended concerts hosted by the bands to creates this idea of unity and togetherness but also I will make so to have various different people from different demographics to represent these demographics as the message being conveyed should target everyone.

As I have already mentioned, my location will be in my own house to relate to both of my target audiences as a house is where you are brought up which illustrates this family setting and also relates to the teenage demographic as well. I will also be using fields to convey the sense of freedom and escapism away from the clasp of the media. For equipment to film in these locations, I will be using a camera, tripod and a phone to record my music video. With my crew roles, I will have me and my dad filming the scenes. I will also have my whole family staring in the film but the main protagonist will be me. Whilst editing my video, I will be using adobe premiere pro to add effects and edit my videos. The majority of effects that I will be using for example is cutting the footage to the beat to great a fluent transition between the two images to make the video more aesthetically pleasing.
